Passamaquoddy artist Jeremy Frey to have exhibition at Portland Museum of Art
PORTLAND – The Portland Museum of Art is pleased to announce an upcoming exhibition featuring the work of Passamaquoddy artist Jeremy Frey. The exhibition will be on display from May 20th to September 15th, showcasing Frey’s intricate and beautifully woven baskets.
Frey, a member of the Passamaquoddy tribe in Maine, is renowned for his mastery of traditional basket weaving techniques. His work reflects a deep connection to his cultural heritage and a commitment to preserving and promoting Passamaquoddy artistry.
